The Bagri Foundation is proud to support the London Indian Film Festival (LIFF) for the ninth consecutive year.
The London Indian Film Festival (LIFF) is the UK and Europe’s largest South Asian film festival and in 2023, it takes place in two seasons, Summer and Autumn. The second season runs from 24 October to 4 November across the UK with a spectacular showcase of Indian and South Asian premieres and classic movies – and even the first web series preview.
LIFF will commence with the European premiere of “Berlin,” a fast-paced espionage drama featuring Aparshakti Khurana and Ishwak Singh, followed by the closing night film, “Padatik,” a biopic celebrating Bengali director Mrinal Sen. The festival includes themed strands such as ‘Death By Any Means,’ featuring the UK premiere of the serial killer thriller “Kennedy” and classic films. “Extra-Ordinary Lives” presents premieres like “Privacy” and “Joram,” while “Young Rebels” offers films like “Sahela” and “Barir Naam Shahana.” The festival also features shorts and gaming premieres, VR debates, and increased accessibility with BSL-interpreted Q&As.
