We are thrilled to announce that the Bagri Foundation and Cockpit have joined forces to create the new Bagri Craft Award, paving the way for the next generation of makers of Asian Heritage.

About the Bagri Craft Award

The Bagri Craft Award is for a maker with Asian heritage, or from the Asian diasporas, who demonstrates creative excellence, ambition, and developed craft skills. The maker can be UK-based or international. We welcome applications spanning all forms of craft. The Award includes up to three years of business support, coaching, and subsidised studio space at one of Cockpit’s sites in London. 

The Bagri Award welcomes applications from makers with Asian heritage, or from the Asian diasporas, who demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit, creative excellence and well-developed craft skills. The Award includes up to three years of business support, coaching, and subsidised studio space at Cockpit Studios, London. 

Who can apply?

Makers of Asian heritage, or from the Asian diasporas. All disciplines. Either UK-based or international.

3 years of studio space, business support, selling and promotional opportunities.
